This is just to say that the lessons that my domestic servant, Prudence, attended were a huge success. She certainly enjoyed the lessons and has grown in her knowledge and confidence in the Kitchen. Her cooking has improved greatly and she thoroughly enjoys cooking. We look forward to each Wednesday evening when she cooks the day’s menu. I highly recommend this course and in fact have booked her for the next course. In my opinion the course has not only benefitted us but also Prudence, who really enjoys cooking the meals for us. I have booked her for the next course as we are so pleased with the results of the first one." - "Our home assistant, Jabu, attended 3 cooking courses. From never having followed a recipe to using various new and delectable herbs and spices she emerged with a whole lot of confidence and a new skill that can be used throughout her lifetime. Her family especially enjoyed tasting all her baked products. We all love having a talented chefette in the house." - The Hodgkinson Family “This domestic cooking class has made my life so much easier when I have guests. They are so enthusiastic about the cooking. Everybody can’t stop raving about the food, they keep coming back for more!... AND.... I get cake every weekend” - Celeste About the presenter.... Having run Aladdins restaurant for 15 years, and constantly training staff during that time, has taught me a thing or two about training... And fussy kids... And traditional eaters... And adventurous eaters (my kind of eater).... My passion is interesting and healthy food which is tasty. Bland is not a word in my dictionary. I love to use fresh in season ingredients, I only use lean cuts, olive oil if there must be oil, and above all I do not have hours to spend in the kitchen. Simple, identifiable fare made tasty with herbs and spices and innovative combinations works for me. My training as a microbiologist with a certificate from the SAIMR in food poisoning assists with food safety. kjMadams welcome in Eve’s class, Eve’s welcome in Madam’s class, Adams very welcome. |
