 About the presenters:

Jan & Louise van Niekerk
We have been doing Stained Glass for 32 years now.

What started as a hobby has turned into a lifelong passion.
Having moved to the Midlands Meander on the peaceful Natal Midlands 22 years ago, we have been privileged to live the creative life in these beautiful surroundings.

As Stained Glass specialists it is our pleasure to introduce you to the magic of stained glass. As labour intensive as the process is,  when you hold your first piece, washed and shiny, reflecting the light in more ways than you expected.

Being creative is highly rewarding, and we hope to share this experience with you.

"Jan and Louise are great teachers. Loved the courses, having done the basic and advanced course I have all the skills I need to design and make my own lamps. A very rewarding hobby". - Enno

"You are really a fantastic patient teacher and Mark and I enjoyed  being able to use our not so delicate hands and fingers to make beautiful pieces that are still displayed in our home , and where we can show our friends and family what beautiful pieces can be made with beautiful glass. The atmosphere and surroundings also lend itself to a calm and peaceful setting where one can consentrate and where if you make a mistake it can be fixed." - Karen
